Yes I will be 6 months out Sept 2nd. Last check pressure was 17 in the right eye and 19 in the left. I am amazed how it works for both eyes. I go Monday for another pressure check. My pressures started at 24 the day they implanted it.

Ann Custance I am part of the long term study for Durysta the study is done on 1 eye only. I get up to 3 implants over the next 3 years if I need them. Right now you can only get 1 implant is each eye. the study will prove how safe repeated implants will be.
They numbed my eye with drops I felt nothing and it took seconds. My eye was irritated for a few hours after because they used a ton of numbing drop and they do put betadine in your eye to prevent infection They gave me dry eye drops to use and within a few hours it was back to normal. I went to work right after so no down time. It has surpassed my expectations for sure. I fully expected to be on drops for the untreated eye but it did lower that one from 23 to 19.
